ABOUT KIDSPORTS
KIDSPORTS, is a non-profit Florida Corporation that uses
sports as a focal point in teaching children positive life skills in the inner-cities
of Volusia county. We provide test taking skills,
alcohol, tobacco, drugs, crime prevention/intervention
and mentoring programs. We are currently using the sport of tennis
as our primary attention getter.

With our
Partners/Joint relationships we provide a low impact physical component to their
program that would allow a child's body the opportunity to develop
the strength, coordination and muscle/tendon resistance necessary for the higher
impact sports of basketball and football. Currently all tennis lessons are free
to both kids and adults. Kids can earn kidsbucks for use in the
kidsports store.
Volunteers are always needed and come from all walks of life. Tennis players are the primary volunteers at this time.
